Our conveyor belts’ design and materials are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. They guarantee high strength and resistance to: wear, chemical agents, high and low temperatures. They are also designed to integrate with most sanitation methods required by food processing and food handling industries.

Our belts can be used both as conveyor belts and process belts, when integrated with the manufacturing of a product, such as in the fabric printing and wood paneling production

 

Our conveyor belts are made up of one or more synthetic fabrics plied together, top cover and an optional bottom cover. The fabric provides the necessary tensile strength, the inner layers between the fabric plies are made of thermoplastic material. The top cover can be made of thermoplastic materials (such as TPU, TPO, and PVC), or elastomeric rubbers (such as NBR or PUR), or raw fabric.
The material, thickness and type of surface of the conveying side depend on the requested application. The sliding side consists mainly of a fabric, usually impregnated with a thermoplastic material or a wear-resistant PUR, which provides a low and constant friction coefficient.

A well designed conveyor belt profile has the double function of safely transporting the products and facilitating the industrial process, in which the belt is used. Careful selection is essential for each application. For further information, please refer to our profile selection table.

The strength of each belt is determined by its fabric construction and composition. The fabric is usually inserted between layers of polymeric material (thermoplastic or elastomers) that protect it from external factors, such as moisture, light and contamination. Fabric also increases the belt’s mechanical properties, preventing damage, caused by wear. The fabric provides longitudinal strength and flexibility, that are especially important in the presence of small pulleys and knife edge applications.

BELTINGSKILL performs all cutting, punching, joining, pressing and trimming of all conveyor belts, according to our Customers’ specifications. The belts can be endlessly spliced or supplied to the Customer, with ends prepared for closing at their facilities. Complete customization can be carried out on the belts: V-guides installation, profile and sidewall installation with hot air and high frequency welding. Custom perforations, edge sealing and belt design are our specialty. All accessories are manufactured within our company, by our EXTRUDINGSKILL business unit.

Our conveyor belts start off from a slab, that is then cut to the desired length and width, depending on the Customer specifications. At this point, the piece of belt is ready to be endlessly spliced, through the use of adhesive or through our proprietary bonding method, depending on materials and application.

Pelosi manufactures cleats, V-guides and sidewalls of specially formulated PVC and PU compounds, in a range of different Shore A hardness, and various levels of abrasion- and oil-resistance

The accessory compounds match perfectly those of the conveyor belts, in order to guarantee optimal adhesion, through vulcanization and other fabrication systems

We have the ability to perform custom-designed belt perforation. This type of fabrication is usually performed on belts that are exposed to air-suction or need to allow the passage of for cooling purposes

Pelosi makes curved conveyor belts, suitable for installation on any type of curved conveyor.
Our innovative CAD / CAM cutting system allows us to make high-precision cuts in belts, without any limits on external radius or curvature. Our wide range of curved conveyor belts and custom fabrication allows us to meet all of our Customers’ applications, including baggage handling and airport logistics. Upon request, our curved belts can be equipped with:

EASY CONVEYOR CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION AND RETROFIT
BLUEDRIVE belts reduce the amount of design work needed when building an extrusion conveyor. Their zero-tension belt design eliminates the need for special active sprocket engagement. This reduces complexity and cost, and extends the belt lifetime, due to less abrasion.

The BLUEDRIVE conveyors’ technology combines the thermoplastic raw material in perfectly flat and homogeneous TPU with the positive drive flow of modular conveyor.
The BLUEDRIVE conveyors are thin and easy to clean because the top and bottom cover surface reduces the risk of micro biotic contamination.
The solid but flexible design of conveyors is free of cavities, making them very easy to clean.

The total extrusion of monolithic conveyors has no fabric elements that could fray during use and pose a risk to food safety. Even the cables, where present, are completely incorporated in the thermoplastic material and do not involve food safety risks.
